Tidal has done a number of things no one else is doing thus far

Khalad for example has a apple/beats deal but he's with roc nation now who is notoriously tidal

On one hand I almost admire his tenacity and ability to sell literally anything he gets his hands on for a profit.

This was his plan all along, corner the market with a few popular artists he has ties to, get ya'll to believe in some complete bullshyt, sell to the highest bidder before there's a chance at a loss. Predictable but smart. The only reason I wanted Tidal to fail before is because I didn't like the idea of content exclusivity, but oddly enough even though jay will be exposed for THE COMPLETE CON THAT HE IS, I'm not actually mad at this move. Less competition means less exclusivity. Now it's just down to Apple and Spotify, like it should have always been.

In other words, they have a different marketing scheme as the other companies. Time exclusives is a joke because once the content gets released, it leaks within hours on to the internet. The only useful thing to use Tidal for is to watch live streams for concerts but artists can always use Youtube other services for free streaming. I think Jay-z has made some poor business choice such as getting into the streaming industry, but i can't knock the hustle if he made any profit from it. Tidal is not revolutionary from what I seen thus far.
