Ok...cool. The idea of the smaller connector makes sense to me...but I haven't followed things enough to know if there were in fact issues.

lightning cables are fine, but after getting a 5S, I didn't like having to get new cables. and those lightning cables aren't even cheap on monoprice. I bought two additional apple ones off craigslist for $20, and felt like I got a good deal.
and when u got a house full of 30pin cables, it's inconvenient to have to switch them out. and lets not even talk about my dock radio which is useless now
actually, I still have an ipad 2, so I have a few 30 pin cables and 3 lightning joints.
Look at an iPhone 3G and look at any retina display iPhone and ask this question againwhats the purpose of having retina display on the ipad mini? the screen is so small, would u even notice the difference?
it'd be like having retina display on the iphone.
EDIT nevermind, I see they already have had retina display on the iphone

yeah, I know the difference is night and day between those phones and now. I originally thought that only the iphone 5 and above had it, which made me question if u could tell the difference.
Nah started with the 4 and yea an iPad mini would look amazing with retina
I was gonna cop one last month (i have an iPad 1) but decided to wait on the new mini so hopefully apple comes thru
