I disagree with that tweet wholeheartedly. Dudes are living way too in the moment. Putting the title on Cody right now at the height of Roman's run would be a disaster. Cody would completely flop as champion to follow this legendary run. Who would he face outside of Roman for the title? Edge? Nobody wants to see that shyt.

I mean.. I don't completely agree with your take here because Cody had challengers lined up like Gunther, Solo Sikoa, Seth Rollins and a returning Randy Orton.

So they definitely could have made a title reign work. But I'm not mad at The Bloodline story continuing and maybe my guy Jey gets it done.
