5 rings says otherwise. You need me to bump back up his numbers during the 3 straight finals he led the lakers to during the tail end of his prime (08-10). Imagine if PRIME Kobe circa 05-07 had a decent supporting cast. :lupe: The fact he was dropping 30/6/5 in his 30s shows that he woulda tore up the league during the playoffs during his prime.

Kobe makes his supporting cast look worst. Look at the lakers sharing the ball this season before the Cancer returned, then they all look like shyt afterwards.

Kobe's ballhogging is a DETRIMENT, not a positive thing for his team. Bear in mind that in 2001, the lakers had a better record WITHOUT kobe than with kobe.

KD is such a fakkit for trying to be like lebron. His passing shyt he's been doing as of late seems so forced and its so obvious he's only passing to be like lebron. He's become the biggest stat padder in the league because of his fascination with lebron and lebrons stats

people talk about why lebron isn't more aggressive on offense (which is true, as a fan this new efficient af lebron isnt as exciting to watch) but KD has one of the best jumpers in the league, and this guy doesn't wanna attempt too many shots bc he's afraid he won't score under 50%. I can picture this guy every night pulling his player profile up and looking at his stats and thinking about how he can get his efficiency up

i'll just leave this here. to this day, this is the reason I will always respect Westbrook more than Durant.

How do Thunder players feel about the halfcourt heave? Should it be counted as an attempt? And do they pull the just-after-the-buzzer move? I asked some of them:

Kevin Durant: “It depends on what I’m shooting from the field. First quarter if I’m 4-for-4, I let it go. Third quarter if I’m like 10-for-16, or 10-for-17, I might let it go. But if I’m like 8-for-19, I’m going to go ahead and dribble one more second and let that buzzer go off and then throw it up there. So it depends on how the game’s going.”

Russell Westbrook: “No. Nope … If I was considering about [statistics] I’d do a lot of shyt different.”

In the last 10 years there has been one season where someone has attempted more than 900 freethrows on a season, prior to that it had been done 8 times in 19 years.

There were more fouls called back in the day than today.

Different era, more prolific scorers too.....But I kind of see your point

@Swagnificent

It's ironic that you are lamenting about excitement and citing the early 2000's aka a low period in the league as an example of how the league should be. Either you don't remember that era or were young. Teams were scoring 80 or 90 on the regular. I remember the Pistons held I believe it was 5 straight opponents as in entire teams under 70 pts :scusthov:. Scoring 100 was a big deal. You had 3 or 4 teams in the whole league giving you 100 every night. Compared to half the league doing it now. Whole teams are scoring now, not just one guy. Everybody is displaying their dominance and athleticism, not just one guy. What makes one guy doing it more exciting then everybody on the court doing it? :dwillhuh: That's like saying I prefer songs where only one guy has a nice verse or I prefer movies where only one of the actors performs well.

Is watching a whole teams score 90 while shooting brick after brick really more exciting than watching teams score 110 while things operate smoothly and more efficiently? Efficiency=more made shots and less misses. Unless you enjoy wathcing nikkas miss shots :heh: I'm not sure what the problem is.

This is cool and all, but the way they got buckets back then with lane\hand checks and hard fouls>>than the zone and soft perimeter D today..

Basically, you had to have better skillset back then to get buckets, and it made the game a lot more artistic so to speak

I have a soft spot for early 2000s basketball cuz that's when I first started watching, but lookin back some of yall are right.
I was watchin highlights of some of those games and the scores were low 70s and shyt . I loved the 1 star per team era/iso ball era, but imo the league is much deeper with talent now, 1 guy doesn't have to score all the points for his squad to win.
I think the league is still exciting :yeshrug:

and you nikkas act crazy when I say dude will be outta the league once his athleticism falls off :stopitslime:

I wouldn't be surprised if Bron ends up retiring before Kobe cause he can't play effectively after he turns 35.

He's already got over 10 years in the league........If he retires in the next 5 he's good

You keep saying cancer this cancer that but a person who has 5 championships in the nba when a lot of nba legends like malone, stockton, barkeley don't have one makes you a delusional idiot who's opinion no one should take seriously.

Wow you would think with what you're saying kobe wouldn't have 5 championships but he does. So you're wrong, and not only are you wrong you are delusional.

They lost in 2004 because he was ballhogging.

They won in 2009-2010 because he stopped ballhogging.

Then he went back to ballhogging and you see the results. I'm not saying Kobe isn't capable of playing the correct way. He prefers not to, and you stans encourage such behavior, and then you retards criticize other players for not playing like Kobe. Look at the lakers records the last few years WITHOUT kobe. Look at how the lakers role players suddenly turned into crap again as soon as Kobe returned.

Lol isolating series and calling kobe a cancer shows your agenda, the fact of the matter is that he has 5 championships. No one should be ever called a cancer if they accomplish that much. You can't take a person seriously who says something like that about a person's career in the nba.

Because you say so? Your attempt at reasoning, it's juvenile and illogical. Let's say I drive 100 mph regularly on the freeway and swerve through traffic. Am I good driver jut because I don't get pulled over and I don't get into accidents?

fukk it. I want your age and education level before I waste time lecturing you,
