What advice do you have for a young breh in terms of saving? :jbhmm:
Think beyond saving. Savings shouldn't be more than emergency money and maybe a separate savings for bigger ticket items. Anything above and beyond that should be invested in something that makes more money. Educate yourself on at least one investment type.

But do not have your entire stash sitting in an account that doesn't even meet inflation.

Speaking on America the home ofe the ... You all remember. The reason why whe are here in this form... Rich Americans didnt want to pay rent to English. So..... they said PULL UP.
Yall know the rest.
It was taxation without representation. They were paying taxes to a monarchy and they had no say-so in shyt. It wasnt about the idea of taxes in general.

Property taxes means you never own your house. You pretty much end up being a renter of the government. Even worse are HOAs and their associated fees, since they can auction off your house if you don't pay and you have to ask them permission for improvements on a property you 'own'.
on the flip side property taxes are why your richer neighbor doesn’t own every house on your street :francis:

Any person can "Own" anything. As long as you have to pay taxes to a government or crown you never truly own that.
