So many people getting killed due to incompetence. Medical community is overworked and unprepared. Forced to making split second decisions because the government was unprepared due to complete idiocy, hubris, lack of leadership.

sad as fukk.

Can Brehs stop posting conspiracy websites during a health crisis? It's irresponsible. Even from a logic perspective this makes no sense. If you need a ventilator your chances of survival are significantly lowered. Depending on age I think like 30-35% of people who go on a ventilator due to covid don't recover. In no logical or scientific way does that mean the machine is killing people. Stop it.

A breathing mask won't work because these people literally can't breath. A better argument is that hospitals know ventilators can't save everyone but use it anyway in these extreme cases. But if that's your argument are you also gonna argue they should simply let these people choke to death? They have to try.
:mjlol:"conspiracy websites".... You cant debate doctors now you just say anything. Go kill yourself cac

Lets not forget you used to side with white cops killing unarmed black kids before trump got in power

I recommend listen to the doctor

Yeah I saw this video. Ran it by my mother who is a doctor and she said what he said is plausible. She stated what was missing from the video to support his theory on what is occurring, is "Blood gas" levels. She said she wished he covered this. If high ph is found in the blood of these patients it would lead more credence to what he is seeing.

But still, it is not a one glove fits all situation I think. There are some patients where this may be needed but others where ventilators may cause more harm.

I completely agree. We should listen to what the medical providers are saying. Working in healthcare and dealing with these patients, I just think there's a lot of information that he isn't emphasizing in the video that I'm sure he's aware goes into decision making about intubation that is getting lost in everything else he's saying because all people hear is that "ventilators are killing people". He even goes on to say that his concern is how they are being used, which I agree with completely.

At the 3:55 mark in this video he even says that he suspects we will still have to use ventilators. Early intubation isn't always the answer, but not everyone can get by on just oxygen. I've seen too many people fail on oxygen alone. Unless you want to let someone die on the spot, it can't always be avoided. Vent-associated lung injury is very real and it has always been a concern when it comes to ventilated patients, which is why we always use (or should be using) lung-protective strategies when it comes to handling these cases (monitoring lung compliance and pressures, lowering tidal volumes, prone positioning, etc all to avoid trauma). So I just don't know if it's true or fair to suggest that everyone in the country is doing it wrong because each patient is handled differently and you can't simply follow a protocol or algorithm that fits every individual case.
