Kendrick's verse seemingly got cats open on this now.
Papoose called out Drake AND Kanye.
Buddens callin' out Meek and Jay Elec.
No more of that p*ssy "he COULD be talkin' about so-and-so" shyt, the bar has now been raised to where names are being dropped and identities confirmed.
Really, alot of it stems from the fact that rap is currently in a place where the climate isn't dangerous and nikkas ain't dyin' over this shyt. So any perceived "beef" will only be kept lyrical.
Like, why SHOULDN'T it be this way? Rappers make diss songs containing a bunch of tough talk against other rappers all the time and then be like "it's just music, just in fun"...what's the difference between that and what Rick Ross is doin', e.g., sellin' an image that everyone knows isn't true but it kinda doesn't matter? They're both based on a false premise.
But yeah, I don't want to see no more of these dudes bein' "cryptic" with their insults and disses, that era is over.
