I hate the show for trying to highlight a small segment of black society and paint it like its representative of all black society.
It makes me sick how whites and jews bankroll the international depcition of black americans and black americans eat up and cosign the filth just because so many would rather die for attention, picked up from the low character class single mother homes a lot of them want to emulate or actually grow up in. SMH.

It doesn't sound like you even watched The Wire. What you just said isn't even an honest criticism of the show.

yes it is.
You never went to the homes and the community of Clay Davis (where he lived not the people he exploited)
You only saw a glimpse of the different like that Lt. Daniels and his wife lived.

That said the only thing the white folks want to highlight is fukking black dysfunction and broadcast that shyt all around the world, and get folks like yourself , whites, and etc to call it "real" as if the majority of black living that isn't that bullshyt is not "real"

i'm sick of it.

I hate to see people talk about Omar like he is something positive, Omar is a worthless piece of shyt. Stringer Bell is a worthless piece of shyt. Clay Davis was a worthless piece of shyt, Avon, a worthless piece of shyt. Bubbles a worthless piece of shyt. Nothing but a show full of pieces of shyt.

Yet you can't go to a board where people aren't making these characters out as some how noble or cool or having honor. They are black terrorists to black people in poor communities.

Got it. I see your point better now.
But The Wire was full of positive Black characters as well. As you mentioned: Lt. Daniels, Kima, Lester, Cutty, Bunk, Sydnor, Bunny Colvin, Augustus Haynes (the newspaper editor) and even Carver by the end.
The show is about the city of Baltimore. In my opinion, it's the best television show of all time. People pull from it what they want.

Kima- adulterer. Deadbeat
Lester- trick. Got fired for serial killer shenanigans
Cutty- smashed all his trainees mothers.
Bunk- adulterer. Also convinced Kima to lie under oathe
Sydnor- ok.
Bunny- ok
Carver- ok

How can you say this is about the city of Baltimore when it didn't show all of Baltimore.
It showed a poor black neighborhood in baltimore. Yet look how easily you extrapolated that to the whole city and all the inhabitants.

Season two focused on the dock workers who were mostly White.
The show had focuses on: The Baltimore Police department (the primary focus of the show), a small segment of East Baltimore, the drug trade, Baltimore politics, Baltimore school system and Baltimore media.
