Had lol at people bringing up J Cole and promo and all that. These people can’t make you listen to their albums. Shea Butter Baby is still one of my favorite albums from the last few years. That's why I don't understand how their PR teams have limited their social media use...use your SM to promote music, your brand, and anything pertaining to your art, and that's it. welp, the business is how you eat but it comes with a bushel of bullshyt that she’s not equipped to handle.

now if she’s prepared to put in the legwork of writing her own music, producing/finding producers, mixing, mastering, promoting, art directing, styling, distributing/dealing with streaming services, running her social media, planning tours, negotiating deals AND putting up the bread to make this happen then she will truly be free.
