I don't believe in the thought process of "I'm fighting for your freedoms, etc." You didn't get drafted. You volunteered. There are a lot of quagmires we've stuck our nodes in for a variety of reasons that I believe we should have left alone. You're maintaining our place on the world order and that's fine, but I'm not going to bend over backwards because you wear a uniform when in reality, you joined for a Dodge Challenger. Much of the money spent in Afghanistan could have been used on our decaying infrastructure here.

Again that was one of our stupid squad traditions every e-6 and below who came into are tent had to be zapped with the bug zapper at least once. This motherfukker zapped his own balls everyday.

I only was at Benning, Stewart Bragg Walter Reed. I think it has to do with how "high Speed" or how elite the units are. They encourage you to be aggressive and people start to believe their bullshyt. Plus it was the "crunk" era and we were at war, so nikkas gased themselves up.

I only lived there for a year and got arrested in '06 and sent to prison for burglary. They questioned us and threatened to charge us but we didn't do either and never got charged...

I have a unique perspective, when we came here no one expected to stay here. None of my family is from Fayetteville (none of my family is even from the East Coast), and I was only sent here to live with my dad because I got kicked out of school in Virginia. Had never been before, but i saw my parents the other day and reflected on how I've now been watching Fayetteville grow for 15 years now. It is a different place, for the better, than it was when I first slid thru. Still ain't alot to do lmao, but it's definitely growing in the right direction...

Bruh I'm 100% the same mindset, I will say living in a military-dominant community like Fayetteville soured me quickly on all that stars and stripes patriotism. I'm 100 with you on this!

People who reenlist without the guarantee that their life/standing is going to improve for it really are just zapping their own balls though if you think about it

Looking back on it now I should've joined the Navy. But dem Cracker Jacks are the biggest turn off to not enlisting that I never saw. I thought that was y'all's duty uniform. That and the fact that I didn't want to be stuck on a boat is why I didn't join. I learned later you can swerve sea duty (to a certain extent)

I was volentold during summer school season. They needed bodies I was "hooah" so they sent my stupid ass. If you failed you'd be smoked, probably not sent to anything remotely "hooah" for awhile and you could lie and say you didn't want it. My E-7 failed that and SFAS he was still my PltSGT.

The only thing that was considered gayer was pathfinder school which Air Force special ops tend to handle. They were trying to con me into that and luckily the schools NCO talked me out of it.

shyt I failed SFAS once actually I quit...I can’t knock anybody for failing that shyt. I didn’t even want to do it I was tab chasing for some reason and we had a ton of slots.

You can quote all my stuff if you want. I've been here for a while, enjoy digging up my posts. There are Conservatives that are not war hawks. I was not a fan of Trump attacking a Syrian base in 2017. The same moment in which Fareed Zakaria and many in the media called him Presidential for likely egging on a skirmish that many Liberals and Neocons wanted us to put boots on the ground for. Remember, the HRC wanted to designate Syria a No Fly Zone which is essentially a declaration of war without saying it.
