LeBron's shortcomings are magnified because he allows himself to be built up as the greatest of all time. He's the one who tatted himself "The Chosen One". He's the one who initially wore 23 then went to 6 (supposedly out of respect for Jordan but interestingly enough was disrespecting Russell) only to go back to 23. He's the one who called himself "King James". He's the one telling us to "Witness." He's the one who put himself on the NBA's Mount Olympus and again threw shade at Russell. LeBron's post-season struggles get scrutinized because he put all that pressure on himself. He allows himself to be built up as not only the league's best player but the best ever (even though he isn't nor could he ever be). LeBron has no problem frontrunning and calling himself the greatest or the best player in the world when things are going his way yet stans get upset when he fails to live up to his standards and the image he created for himself.
