Larry was a great player but I got Lebron. We can argue that Bird was a bettet clutch player. But Lebron is a far better defensive player than Bird was vs Bird being a far better clutch player than Lebron.

Let's not forget that Bird was the weakest defender out of those starting line ups. McHale always guarded the better out of the two Forwards.

McHale was the one that guarded worthy in those finals not Bird. Mchale was also the one that guarded Wilkins in that great playoff series.

THIS is the difference maker. The article completely ignored defense. Offensively they are neck and neck. Maybe Bird gets a slight edge. Defensively, no contest. Bron in a landslide. Advantage LeBron.

I don't know, Bird made both Pippen and Dominque look foolish at times. Peep this video at 2:58, Bird drops Nique with a step-back jumper, gives him the look and shoots over him. Very cold-blooded. Plus in that vid you can see how much Bird knew about spacing and had a solid understanding of where defenders may be coming from which is why he had so many easy looks for shots. Plus a lot of his fade aways were over taller more athletic players, don't have any doubt that he'd be able to shoot over LeBron either.

these guys were not better athletes and are fukk'n tiny as hell compared to back in the day.
these new nikkaz are not that big, like that.
bird played with slave hand gene nikkaz before crack erroded the black gene pool.
who were better, smarter bigger faster and had a higher iq, motor and actual basketball skill and an iq.
these nikkaz don't even play pickup like that and it is all aau play.

NIQUE IS A BETTER COMPARISON TO LEBRONZE THAN BIRD.

Nique was a better skillplayer and able to execute better than bron.
Plus bron, wilts in big moments and will not impose his will and become a jump shooter.
When he is the player who physically can get to the basket at will and does not.
Nique was dunking on you, and bringing thunder any and at all times.
Bron sulks like a baby and will quit.
Even grant hill was a better skill player before injury as well.
Plus ramped higher than bron.
While bron will defer and won't commit to the high quality high IQ brand of basketball to be a winner.
Nor, will he develop a real post game and actually use it to open up other components of his perimeter game.
On top of shirking leadership by not playing his natural.
Nique never shirked on playing and never gave up on the hawks.
