Lol.

His prime is definitely 2009 up until 2014, using 2015 just because he went to the Finals is dumb. Purposely trying to downgrade his numbers.....

No. Up until last year/finals, he was an MVP candidate and he almost won Finals MVP. And he still put up great numbers.

Stop acting like 2015 isn't prime Lebron (even if he started showing some slight signs of falling off).

Adding 2015 isn't purposefully downgrading his numbers at all.

You did not even accurately identify LeBron's prime. He averaged 30/8/7/2/1 in '06. You're including his 12th season as a part of his "prime" --

How do threads like this get made?

IMO LeBron's prime started when he worked with Hakeem.

Got him self a basic back to the basket game, used his Basketball IQ to make things eaiser for him.

Bron is better but it's not by as much as cats are trying to claim. Bird was a decent defender in the beginning of his career and his playmaking skills are just as good if not better then James are. And he was better on the boards too and would have averaged even more of those if he didn't have McHale and Parish out there gobbling up rebounds too.

It's been 5 years almost and I still can't believe he lost that 2011 Final. I don't really care about the question because this isn't fukkin tennis or boxing, its a team sport and I hate singling out 1 player in teams as if it matters. But back to losing that final :snoop: right then and there I knew Lebron wouldn't be a true elite. He will finish with 2 rings and pretty much be remembered like Hakeem, just a tier below a true great. Still he is a very good player though.

Who the hell didn't know Bird was better than Lebron?:what:

It's common sense.

- More rings facing tougher competition.
- Better shooter by far
- Better rebounder by far
- Better post-up player by far
- Better passer
- Better footwork
- Better help/team defender
- Better team leader by far
- Better team player by far
- Mentally tougher, by far.
- Better competitor. Bird wanted to compete against Magic, Zeke, Bernard King, Worthy, Jordan, Dominique, etc., not join them.
- More clutch. Bird is the most clutch player in history. Pat Riley on who he would choose to take the last shot: "If I had to win a game, I'll pick Michael Jordan. If I had to bet my life, I'm picking Larry Bird."

So, what's there to talk about? Bird > Bron Bron.
