Having watched both play, I'd take Bird over LeBron...

How can you not? I mean, next to MJ I don't think there's another player in which every defender has hella stories on how he gave them the business. Zeke tellin stories about how Chuck was gettin in they a$$ over letting Bird do them like that, everyone else with stories saying "Bird first said this then did this." Bird walking in a room and shutting up countless ninjas with one statement. Read the stories from Dream Team and how MJ and them were talking and Bird shut Pippen up like "I gave you work", then saying "MJ got next."

Bird is Top 6 (IMO) no way he's past 7 to ever play. He's not even known as an all-around guy and yet he still has multiple seasons of 10rpg & 7apg.

But anybody that follows sports or has worked in the indurstry knows, that for guys that enter the NBA at 18 and 19 - they're prime shifts forward, because they are more athletic, and have fewer miles on their legs at 22-23, But still have the same amount of experience.

LeBron was a far more dominant physical force in 06, 07 than he is now. That's a fact. He's even admitted as much. This season and last season are STATISTICALLY his worst seasons since he was a teenager -- and yet a simple ass poster like you would INCLUDETHEM, after he's logged nearly 50,000 minutes as a part of his prime???

Okay. Jackass, I guess Kobe's prime was from 2000-2004 then when he was 22-26 and not from 2005-2008 when he was 27-30. You got it right breh. He was in his prime during the three peat years and the loss against the Pistons. Not when he was cooking entire teams by himself and scoring 50 points a game. Moron. The human body doesn't care when you came into the league. You're at your physical peak as a man at 25....regardless. In the NBA, being at that peak physical point and adding years of experience to go along with it is why they call your mid/late 20s your prime. You're not prime anything at 21/22. Anybody with eyes can tell you Lebron was in his prime in Miami. The numbers don't show it because he was sharing the ball with Wade and Bosh but, his effiency was through the roof.

But given the fact that he's less athletic than he was 5 years ago, and that his current trajectory is pointing to exactly the opposite of some late surge... I'm going to go ahead and stick with numbers, rather than your dumbass opinion.

Step your game up. Read in a little more. You aren't ready for this.

I'm not arguing AGAINST his Miami days you simple fukk.

I'm arguing against including his most recent seasons as a part of his prime. THAT was my original point... you should NOT be using his last two seasons as a part of his prime, and EXCLUDING seasons where he was getting 30/8/8 - it was an inappropriately stacked set of statistics, used in order to make Bird look better.

I don't even dislike Larry Bird, he's an all time great. But they were using a shytty set of stats for LeBron to prove a point.
