Cole good for two songs a album then the rest to me is just boring AF but hose two songs usually are very good. Same for Kendrick 3 maybe 4 on his last album and one before that but I think he is overrated tho.

OP was tweaking with the , "Lupe Fiasco is the only one seeing him" line, but I disagree with Wale being mediocre and lacking any form of feeling genuine. He's one of the most emotional dudes rapping out there.

Yes, he is emotional but not as much on tracks as he is on radio interviews, phone calls to Complex and magazine write up's. on music, he just doesn't sound genuine to me.

He relies too heavily on RNB hooks for singles, which exposes his lack of an ability to craft records. His choppy delivery and cadence takes away from his lyrics and message. When he's is less choppy on the mic he can be a top 3 rapper in his class. Take Winter Schemes for example, he washed j.Cole impressively.

I've read people on here say he peaked with Ambition... but The Gifted is clearly his best album. Piff from start to finish, and I still play it to this day

this probably my favorite wale verse, i really thought in 2011 with MMG Wale was hungry and getting to be really dope, but his albums and mixtapes have been so meh, no desire to listen to those shyts again really
