1). Black people do save at comparable rates to whites but we also take care of more of our family members with the little money we do have in our pockets.

Thats the problem with modern society. Just because you disagree with someone doesn't make their points nonsense or ludicrous. The whole point of discussion, argument and disagreement is to gain extra knowledge, each person putting their points and opinions forward so that we can refine and learn from the points that others make. No one comes in with a bullet proof argument off jump, but people act like seeing any flaws (or percieved flaws) in their statements means that you have to denigrate and put them down. Umar made his opinion known and brought his own understanding of the situation and the best way forward in his opinion. No one has a magic crystal ball that can tell what can or will happen. You disagree, thats cool. I'd like to read more about how you think reparations should be paid out, in what form and timescale, and how you think that will lead to permanent improvements in black society.Nonsense.
