It speaks nothing to our communities, supporting our own, our relations with one another. I've never once heard talk about drill rappers or drug dealers harming our lineage, let the next Pepsi girl be a "tether" tho and all hell breaks loose. Some will even talk this "lineage" shyt and simultaneously endorse that red pill, SYSBM bullshyt as if that's not in direct opposition to eliminating said lineage its wild

Somebody, I forgot who it is, on this very forum once reminded me that black people aren't as destitute as they believe themselves to be. The power and the money of the black community exists, it's just not being allocated properly.

Not even that. Theres not even that many black wealthy people.

See, we have athletes, entertainers, and SOME black successful execs. THATS IT.

Everyone else just has a well paid JOB.

Thats not wealth, its not independence, and its not "community".

People confuse "making it" with "thriving" and it's not remotely the same thing.

My personal timeline is full of people with masters and PhD's...but they're just HIGHLY PAID. We're all paychecks away from poverty and we still have to work.

And none of us truly control the infrastructure or have the necessary levers to truly enact the sweeping change to actually seriously push for this shyt.

A LOT of people make great arguments for reparations.

There are also a LOT of people who walk the walk they talk. Umar unfortunately has not proven to be one of them. His problem has never been articulation. His overwhelming problem has been tangible execution of ideas. Some call it ineptitude, others scamming, whatever you call it, he’s proven that he’s mostly just a bunch of good words
