Black people are vastly overrepresented in California's homeless population, so I'm not sure what you mean. Having the homeless out and about, able to freely galivant is the actual karma.
Black people are overrepresented in the homeless population in NYC too. I don't know why people think homelessness is a "white people problem" when minorities have been getting fukked over by this country for eons.

Dapped, but i must clarify. This country has been doing ados (and NA's) wrong for "eons." Most everybody else actually came here to be treated like this. :snoop:

As long as the entire country wants to live on the coast this problem will never go away.

the entire world population can fit in Texas, there’s space in this country if you want it :unimpressed:

Just get rid of Republican rule in the mainland. The only reason why the homeless run to CA is because of government offering services to homeless people. In AL, GA, NC and TN, you know DAMN WELL the rulership aint gonna invest in homeless people.

look, i get the rising COL and gentrification are making it hard out here, that said, from a property owner and tax payer perspective, it's annoying to spend this much money to purchase a home, pay all these taxes and not even be able to walk down main thoroughfares or your own block or use local parks, public transit, etc without fearing for your health/safety due to these sprawling camps, their sanitary conditions and the amount of drug addicted, unstable people that live in them along with those just trying to survive.

there's plenty of "out the way" places to tuck these folks while working on a better solution, that said again, that's our taxes going toward buying, setting up, cleaning and servicing homeless camps (people not paying taxes) as opposed to funding schools, better roads (roads in oakland are shyt :wow: ) and other general services. but these camps can't keep overtaking prime public spaces

Facts

What the fukk does mental illness have to do with these ppl leaving dirty needles in parks and grass? To the point, kids are scared to play there

There's no option but to make them government employees in exchange for housing until they have skills to pay some bills.

We had this problem before after ww2 mad homeless vets where in the bay. Gov built entire camp towns for em, cheap homes so they would not live in the streets. We can do that right now as well but the greed is destroying everything, these temp homes cost 8 grand a pop but Cali is building em for 500 grand a pop :unimpressed: they were originally priced at 200k each but the price keeps going up:unimpressed:

Everyone gotta get some off top huh :unimpressed:

Just in the subgenres I follow on YouTube, I know several 35-50 year old white people only making it in LA/SF because they live with their parents or are tenants in one of their parents properties. So just imagine how bad it is for black people.

They are literally waiting for their parents to die and I doubt they'll even be able to handle the property taxes, bills, and maintenance on a paid off house when that day comes due to their mediocre incomes.

San Francisco has almost no black folks left. :picard:Literally, SF has had the worst case of black flight of any major city. I'm from Frisco so I know. My old neighborhood is mostly Asian now. The remaining blacks in SF concentrated in shytty housing projects that are getting tore down every year. Even Oakland bleeding it's black population and Oakland was the chocolate city of the west. Most Bay Area black folks got pushed into the Valley, had to move down south and all of the street nikkas dead or locked up or turned into knocks. The only black people who still can afford to live in SF are nikkas from the hood bossed up majorly and own several lucrative businesses and are millionaires. If you ain't on the wave, you cain't make it in the Bay in 2020 bruh.

SF always been a homeless mecca because no one freezes to death or dies of heat stroke because of the year round mild weather plus being a known drug mecca since the 60's, really the Opium den days. shyt is going to get worse in the years to come because the Bay has always been ahead of the curve in many ways. The aggressive gentrification, the ethnic cleansing of black folks, the widening gap between rich and poor, rising homelessness will all be common in more places in Amerikkka in the near future. :stopitslime:

So i have some ties to Seattle and they going through the same thing.

In fact KOMO news 5, the Sinclair owned Seattle News Outlet has put out two televised Investigative Journalism pieces pointing out the "epidemic" and how the city is reacting (or rather failing to react) one of which is dramatically titled Seattle Is Dying (:mjlol:) and the other called A Tale of 3 Cities, which is positing that Seattle is on its way to having its homeless problem becoming as persistent and large as San Frans and LA's.

My take on it is right in the middle.

On one hand, the conservative streak in me is like "These poor fukks gotta go :mjpls:".

in the West Coast these fools be shytting on the streets, in public leaned out on Heron, stealing erething from regular tax paying joes (Western Washington is one of the leading metro areas in property crime) . You got bodies of water in W. Washington that are becoming filled with human waste and other side effects of the transients taking up camp and polluting (there encampments are filthy, literal :trash: dumps).

Worst part is that most of these fools aren't even FROM Washington. :why: They're from Cali and other surrounding states and come to Seattle because the Cops have been defanged by the city council in terms of dealing with the addicts/transients.

Keep it real, tax payers shouldnt have to deal with that especially given all the taxes West Coast residents pay.

OTOH, these West Coast politicians arent about to put their foot on the necks of poor people when rich mahfukkas and corporations arent paying their fair share of taxes.

Even though some Kurt Cobain looking cac shytting on Main Street is some Babylon shyt, Jeff Bezos barely paying taxes is a far bigger net loss in the grand scheme of things. And these West Coast politicians know that their constituents would have their head for going all "Elysium" on the poor.

Lastly, the Leftist perspective of going harder on the rich has some merit to it since the homeless problem is getting worse across the entire nation. Cities like Indianapolis, Louisvllle, St. Louis, cities with such low costs of living that NOBODY should be homeless, are seeing rises in homeless populations. Something is systemically wrong in America and its coinciding with the rising gap in wealth.
