I'm defensive because you keep attributing beliefs and thoughts to me that I've told you multiple times that I don't have.

So seem awfully combative about this topic. You bragged about making a woman cry over this topic. You also seem to spend a lot of time on the topic. Are you a woman hater? You must be since you know a lot about topic and love to berate women. You see how silly that sounds...unless it's true.

I actually have a reason to know a lot about the topic considering that my substantive research areas are education and race, class, gender. It would be awfully silly for a sociologist to not be well read in the subject.

I don't believe that people naturally take gender roles--people choose them, but personally I want to have a traditional family when I get married, ie, woman is the mother who stays at home, father is the bread-maker, etc.

That's whats up. There's many other feminists who feel completely different and those are who I find issue with. I disagree with accepting men and women exchanging gender roles in society today. I feel that's one of the issues that's negatively affecting the black community today. You got dudes out here dressing like females with female tendencies and vice versa.

I'm torn because I believe if you're gay, that's cool, do you On the other hand, I think the switching of gender roles is one factor that's harming the black family today. If there was a balance I wouldn't have an issue with it.

Are we really going to say fukk it, and continue down this path of destroying the family structure? And I realize there are many reasons for this but the swapping of gender roles and norms is high on that list I'm sure. I'm going to stop while I'm aheading and not continue down to path I'm headed...

Well, let's see: You said that my criticisms were too simple on an ideology was too nebulous, and I said that being too nebulous was not something that exempted feminism from criticism. You also said that the man hating dogma that formed the foundation of feminism wasn't the basis for it and that there was lots of disagreement while any significant disagreement was missing from your assertions. You then keep saying that I'm being too simplistic in its nature, but you don't really say how, just keep insisting that it's too simple.

You didn't say who provided a distinct counterpoint to the foundation that I outlined as being the basis for feminism, you didn't even really provide facts and figures to counter the claims that I made against feminism, and you couldn't even provide names that would have proved me wrong.
