no ones continually asking him to do shyt. all the OG interviewer asked was if he felt pressure and he went on some bullshyt ignorant ass rant. all he had to said was "no, but im not really trying to be political, fukk the police though" and kept it moving. instead of sounding like an elitist all lives matter blah blah blah i dont see color piece of shyt.

but im not surprised your fake intellectual ass would cape for dude.

no ones saying Rocky has to be on his Chuck D, Public Enemy shyt.. but him and ASAP mob members dont even wanna discuss the shyt publically, just wanna continue kissing white peoples ass to move up in the fashion world and not step on toes. dude really said hes helpoing out black youth, which is true.. wont deny that. hes given and helped plenty of young black kids but that shyt don't matter when those kids can still be shot down by the police over bullshyt. he completely sold out. went from calling people crackers, slipping in some semi political lines relating to white supremacy and the oppression of black people, especially poor black people to getting some money, modelling for white brands and magazine.. now thinking because white people accepted some black guy with braids and grills that shyt is cool and dandy when its not.
i'm not caping for dude...but Rocky is basically like 99% of who want NBA players to speak up for them.

he's not a leader. He knows he's not. He's black. he's experienced this shyt...he just doesn't want to talk about it.

Bruh, this shyt is hard. Its fatiguing. Its tiring. NOT everyone is just jumping at the chance to talk about the shyt.

its kids wanting to still be kids

with all this shyt surrounded ASAP the past year from Rocky and Ferg to something i found out last night from someone, they are officially BUSHES status to me.

Bari and other Asap members, i think a few years back came to someone and asked them how they could further the ASAP brand further and ASAP presented the idea of reigniting a EAST COAST VS WEST Coast beef. what happened is Asap picked Odd Future (which explains the past lil beef they had) and beat up a member of Odd Future. Odd Future called up Freddie Gibbs and then Freddie Gibbs gave ASAP a call and pretty much was like "whats good" and they were shook and fell back.. until a year or something later at SXSW ASAP tried reigniting the beef, but Odd Future actually has goons in Texas so they weren't shook and were ready to go but Schoolboy Q pretty much told them, nah "this aint happening, this is my show and we're all TDE tonight:aicmon:"

fukking clowns
Rocky just did a tour, multiple songs, videos and interviews on golf wang radio with Tyler tho :patrice:

Yeah...Dude didn't graduate high school.

Come on man...this is who people are looking to for leadership?

he's a man-child who has experienced the black experience...but taking that burden of being a leader doesn't fall evenly on everyone's shoulders.

In Dallas, From Cleveland
"I'm breaking down barriers"

No bruh, breaking down barriers is starting your own black owned Clothing line and using your fashion influence

Not signing a deal with a very white European fashion house Dior. They want diversity, a token black. It's not like you own any of that company. It's no different than signing to a record label

He just sounded shaky throughout this interview....

hes not a kid, hes a grown ass man.

and that's not the issue people are taking, it's how elitist and vapid he came across while doing so.

bruh...I can never look at another black man and say they don't understand racism.

He's basically saying, I'm not trying to be a leader. This shyt is a huge burden and I don't think I should be leading it.

I'm with you on the first part.

But he's always come off as one of those free spirit dudes. Those "only race is the human race" types. That's why I believe he doesn't understand it to that degree.

they are friends now, yes.. but like i said this was a few years back.not sure how long ago, dont remember when exactly it happened but like I said SBQ helped squash the beef and asap prob realized that they had more to lose trying to continue to beef for branding sake especially considering odd future is respected WAY more by pretty much all of hip hop than ASAP will ever be

This Interview funny.... lol

It felt like on points of the interview Envy, Yee, & CTG were tryna guide Rocky on what to say to clean this up and he kept going elsewhere :mjlol:

Yeah he's bad at speaking, kinda explains why the other interview comes off so awful

he cant articulate what he is trying to say

sounds good in his head but it comes out a lil wrong

I kinda understand what he is sayin

I lowkey feel like yall coppin pleas heavy with this shyt "Bu bu but ASAP hearts in the right place he just cant articulate:why:"....Dude articulates himself very well, better than some of these so called conscience rappers as a matter of fact....He knows exactly what he wants to say and I feel like he said it.

The nerve of this nikka to invoke Pacs name though, talkin bout Pacs legacy is what it is because Pac was about unity among people....Really my nikka:laff:?Pac was about black people first and foremost....i hate tht statment Asap made as much as when they try to make it like Malcolm X was about unity at the time of his death, talk about taking shyt out of context.

ASAP is basically a new black, liked it better when the racism/racial tensions was swept under the rug...he's one of those "We cant move on from racism by bringing it up" folks....he represents the "we dont see color" gang over everything.

he's not alone in that thinking, alotta this younger generation/hipster crowd felt like him until they got they wake up call with these shootings I guess...he should underatand he just in the minority of black folks that feel that way....just like hes in the minority of nikkas who think its cool to wear dresses:mjlol:

Everybody wanna be different to the backlash comes, this interview was masterful...coppin pleas, softening what he said while basiclly saying the same thing....dont sit there and tell me this nikka is too dumb,he just dont wanna talk about tht shyt....i dont mind him not wanting to talk about political shyt, its been his dismissivness that made him c00n status in my book.

he needed to he shamed by black people, sumbody had to tell him how he looked saying what he been saying....now he can keep his c00n thoughts to himself and stop giving europens soundbites that make him look like "one of the reasonable black folks",while painting the rest of us as lunatic, racist militants.

I'm not coping pleas. I don't even like Rocky but I don't know how you can watch that interview and think he speaks well. He sounds like he just learned English. nikka was literally RAMBLING for 40 minutes about nothing. He can't articulate himself at all.
