Yeah $26k for a hellcat makes zero sense. Plus 3 ads at different prices shows too much urgency.
All the scammer needed was to find one buyer with zero street smarts or better yet, common sense.

I’m guessing this was a white or Asian man finessing. Black man wouldn’t have gotten that far.
When I rented a car, they asked for my licenses number.
Dude thought he was gonna do a quick flip and make an easy $15-$20K. Probably promised his friend some of the profit.

ya he should’ve known it was too good to be true…very very very expensive lesson for him to learn smh…folks even be attempting to rent out other ppl’s properties on CL…I remember YEARS ago I saw a nice place for rent (on CL) and I knew the area…the rent was way too fukking low tho for that neighborhood…so I drove out there and saw a different realtor’s sign on the actual property…gave them a call and let them know what was happening smh
