LA is treacherous for shyt like this on Craigslist..I got scammed in 2013 by some Harry Potter looking cac in a similar way not as extreme..

I was trying to buy a 96 firebird with LT1 engine off Craigslist for 3K…I pull up with my bro and his unc that’s a mechanic and we checked the car (not super thorough but about 30 mins) and also did a test drive..I pay the cac sign the papers and dip out happy as fukk I got a muscle car for the low..

So me and the bro on the 710, I’m going crazy on the gas to hear the car roar..my bro ask me do I smell that..I say smell what..he say smell like something burning..I look at the car temperature and it’s rising up rapidly..I still don’t panic because nah this can’t be lol I call the cac he send straight to voicemail. Thought it was odd as I just pulled off maybe 40mins ago. I try to call again same thing..at this point I’m thinking wtf but still driving home trying to be positive..we get to around where the 710 meets the 105 and that’s when I see the car temp is in the red and the car is starting to smoke out the hood..

Long story short one of the gaskets was blown and he used some kind of sealant that kept the car from leaking just long enough before it completely overheats. If we would have drove it longer we would have noticed but we only drove it for like 10 mins (was in koreatown during rush hour)

I was so mad and angry as that was a big chuck of my money at that time that I couldn’t afford to lose with nothing to show for it..

fakkit cac was from Vegas I remember him telling me he went to Findlay prep with NBA players…if I ever catch him I am going to assault him seriously
