I get paid every week and the only thing i pay is my phone every month, planet fitness, gas, car insurance and any little thing that might come up. Thats around $500. If you have a regular job making 2000 a month youre saving 1500.I've been having thoughts on how much money I could save if I just lived off in my car
So you would rather pay for a hotel youre only going to sleep in for a month which would probably be over 1k than to save it to keep from sleeping on the floor when you do get moved in? Cheap shytty hotels are $50 a night. You would be ok spending $50 a night for over 30 days?
It seems backwards to me. I would rather be living comfortable when i get to my end point. 1500 in my pocket to live on seems more logical to me in my situation
Honestly for me right now its not about being comfortable now. Its all about working to be comfortable in the long run. If i was going to be living alone that would be different but im doing this to give me and my wife a better life. People are different. Sleeping in a suv where i can fully stretch out isnt as bad as sleeping in a carLive comfortably in your though car fam? When you can get a room for a few weeks?

It's amazes me how easy folks will run away from temporary bouts of discomfort to line someone else's pockets. You see the big picture. IHonestly for me right now its not about being comfortable now. Its a small set back to gain something bigger. Sometimes easier isnt the best path. For some people it might be. Everybody is different. It's amazes me how easy folks will run away from temporary bouts of discomfort to line someone else's pockets. You see the big picture. Iyou for that. Sacrifice on your own for a month or 2 So that you and your wife are not sacrificing for the next 6 months to a year.
I get the whole "long-term" thing, but I'd at least treat myself to a 2 day stay at a motee. That $100 wouldn't set him back by THAT much. Its a small set back to gain something bigger. Sometimes easier isnt the best path. For some people it might be. Everybody is different.
Yeah i thought about that. I thought about doing that on my off day. I get so busy cleaning the car washing clothes and other random shyt i just decide not to. Its not a bad idea at all.I get the whole "long-term" thing, but I'd at least treat myself to a 2 day stay at a motee. That $100 wouldn't set him back by THAT much.
Besides, how much is SHE bringing to the table upfront?
Make a few "fine dining" plates to go, get me a bottle of Henny, and take to room....chilling and watching HBO for 2 days. That's just me, though. I'll be walking in apartment with $1350 instead of $1500.![]()
