Ehh..some of it is totally off..They got BMW and Mercedes right
Mini is actually BMW they should be way up there
Saturn is too high..its should be among the lowest if not the lowest
Honda and toyota are too low because while the parts are available demand is high for their parts
I dont see how mercury is high and ford is low because they share the very same drive-trains they should be 13 and 14 or tied
Lexus is too low too cos most of their parts have to be imported
land rover too low it should be at least 3rd

this list is all over the place...i wouldnt trust it...and within the brands the models differ like the BMW 3 series is nowhere near as much to maintain as say a 7 series or a cadillac escalade

i own a lex IS-F thats about right. parts are fairly cheap

......you can get at the WP,alternator PS pump by removing the radiator but if you really wanna make your life easy and car reliable you should pull the motor out and do a partial rebuild..replace gaskets check tolerances and gaps ..cylinder compression ,oil pressure

sometimes fixing one small leak on a confined space takes more time than pulling out the motor and doing a rebuild and you end up with more reliability

so alot of the times on these cramped RWD ill just take the motor out work on it on a stand.

I now realize youre talking about the Bosch starter that ISNT threaded.. but you said non threaded bolts word???

You think such a thing exists as a non threaded bolt...woudnt that just be a pin ot a nail

Had you been more specific and less hostile and negative i would have told you you have to remove the intake manifold +valve cover or just take the motor out like i previously said.. but thats just me

uhuh that list said cost to mainitain over 10 years. the lexus would be cheaper over 10 years. the parts last longer. You can get KYB strut assembly direct match to "OEM" ( main manufacturing plant in Japan btw ) for about $100/piece. How do I know this because I changed my struts last year.
