:sas2:ABOUT CARS friend....i sense some hostility...YOU came in this thread talking about tight clearances...you didnt specify what your issue was...and your post was vague as hell

I now realize youre talking about the Bosch starter that ISNT threaded.. but you said non threaded bolts :usure: word???

You think such a thing exists as a non threaded bolt...woudnt that just be a pin ot a nail

Had you been more specific and less hostile and negative i would have told you you have to remove the intake manifold +valve cover or just take the motor out like i previously said.. but thats just me

maybe someone else has an easier way of doing it.:francis:

....Why would I remove an engine for a clutch job?

I'm not trying to be hostile.

I simply asked for your credentials.

Some of the things you say..... don't make sense.... honestly.

Please let me know if I'm fukking up somewhere.

On the subject.

If you are a mechanic that has worked on Bavaria
s best...you know the deal with e36 trannies and... of course you are familiar with how compact the Germans engineer things. If you haven't the experience... I understand....

Clutch jobs are always different....

It's just that you posted a picture of a fukking electric ratchet.... that got me like.....:upsetfavre:.........So.... I just want to know what your experience is... I'm not about to start clowning you.... That's why I asked you about your experience.

:francis: Friend i tried to be nice but youre now deliberately derailing this...

Like i said earlier...you can spend days trying to loosen those nuts holding the starter which may mean removing a manifold or valve cover to get to it and getting that starter back in position when youre done and holding those nuts in place to tighten them will take even longer

or you could just loosen the driveshaft and pull out the motor and transmission assembly work on it on the stand and be done faster and with a higher quality job ..sometimes the harder way is the better way..the real mechanics know what i mean

:sas1: Ultimately the choice is yours

:comeon: You were OBTUSE as FUKK this is EXACTLY what you said

96 BMW 325IC. M52 w/ 5sp. Clutch R/R... Have you done one like this with tight clearances, hex head bolts, and non threaded starter bolt?

Words of advice?

What does that sound like??

Does it sound like someone changing a clutch.......NO

Is there such a thing as a NON THREADED starter bolt....NO

Only thing in your post that made sense is TIGHT CLEARANCES....so if you ask the wrong question dont expect the right answer

:sas2: my suggestion is you stop worrying about me...and go get you some "effective communication classes"...

Any tips on changing out brake pads? Doing it on my 2013 Honda accord. Got the ceramic ones. Bout to head over to auto zone soon to get a jack stand since I don't think I can do it with just the jack to change the tires. Gonna get a brake pad tool and some adhesive. Anything else I should get or consider? I've seen some YouTube videos and it doesn't seem that difficult but as a first timer I'd like to get some info.

Changed my brehs 2008 Accord Front and Rear in maybe an hour and a half. Get some anti seize for the guide pins and some brake cleanser and you should be straight

I learned how to do hella shyt that would’ve costed my hundreds by just watching shyt on YouTube and automotive forums

Thanks!

But yeah. I'm super pissed the motor blower has failed in 3.5 years. Ridiculous. And the dealer wants $760 :stopitslime:

I'm gonna try and do it myself. I never fixed anything on my own car before so this will be interesting :sadcam:
