The bible says that plants were created before the sun and that 4 days had passed before the sun was created.

So I'm just saying...how is that ecologically possible?

That I'm not clear on and the Bible never goes into detail why the things are in order. It also never tells us what was the light on the first day. The corny Christian answer would be that God's presence gave the plants light. From using Scripture I can't give an answer you're looking for. I can only assume and speculate but it wouldn't lead me anywhere. I do appreciate you asking a question.

1. why are you trying to give me an additional answer? Isn't the bible enough?

2. If you know theres a discrepancy, why do you acknowledge it outside if the bible?

3. you clearly know more physics than you do the bible...so you should be able to address this question

Heres another question too:

How do you know if anything is good or bad in the bible? If you follow it, wouldn't you just do so without an understanding of "good" or "bad?"

I would love to know the History of God but I know my feeble mind could not imagine nor contain how complex and supreme God has been, is, and will be.
Exactly. Which is why being spiritual makes the most sense. You're out here talking near certainty with The Bible while my philosophy is pretty much your quote.

But props for defending your beliefs. :salute:

I think some Muslim arabs made up where Muhammad was born to SEGREGATE the darker hebrews who really were of lineage to jesus and muhammad and not worshipping a god named ALLAH , but worshipping ELOHIM... so they distance themselves and tried to creat their own Jerusalem in MECCA.
but Muhammad wasnt born there.

Thats why there were other people besides adam and eve and besides noahs little area flood.

moses was explaining things, but in a fairy tale way for minds to understand at the time and not doubt.

:manny:

i dont think that incest shyt happened

Whatever if you believe in the process of evolution or creation, there was some incest happening. I believe that incest did occur and God allowed a period of time up until the laws were given to Moses in the wilderness.

I think god was against incest and those outside of the adam and eve lineage did it...

1. I believe that Bible should be and is the basis my life. That doesn't mean I can't study fields. I can't give you a clear because I don't how it happened but I can talk why it happened.

2. I believe that God wants to be well rounded individuals (physically, mentally, socially, and spirtiually). I do know that I will not find the reason why a ball bounces in the Bible but I will find that I should seek for knowledge. If God wanted plants before the Sun, it didn't make a difference how plants work but like you I would like to know why. I can't explain it within Scripture.

3. I don't man I haven't taken a physics class in 4 years and I'm pretty that besides music and sports, the only thing I know well is the Bible

1. what else is to be learned if you're just gonna fall back on the bible anyways?

2. again...the bible contradicts established science here.

3. this is a goddamn shame...and in my opinion a waste of intellect. even a comparative religion course would mean more than just "reading the bible" all damn day. its pretty devoid of any information about the modern world.

1. There's many things to be learn to be experience but my foundation is not just the Bible but the cornerstone, Jesus(Check the first line of the Boondocks theme).

2. I heard this argument all across academia and the internet. I have spent some of this Christmas breaking looking at both sides of the argument and am stilling at it.

3. I wish my professors would let us read the Bible all day long. They're harsher than some of you guys in the forum but I appreciate it.
