If I were a black man, I would leave shytcago if I was born there and I wouldn’t visit that city either. They simply have a culture of murder in that city, it’s almost cult like. They name hoods after dead members, created smoking on so and do, and several gang members waking around with multiple bodies under their belt. That city is past redemption and it’s an evil place.
Sensationalist. Austin is fukked up. West of Downtown and in proximity of a lot of messed up neighborhoods. Black men are in danger generally in a few specific areas but not everywhere else. If one does not live here, they would not know it.

Y'all dudes just be making shyt up. I grew up in Chicago. I still have a sister and brother that live there. Chicago is like any other big city. You have to know your surroundings
Nobody does this anymore. Lol I go out and about and everybody is staring at their phones. Won't even make eye contact. Like who raised you people? It's one thing to mind your business and another to be clueless to what is going on 10 feet away from you.

That just shows you who doesn't know shyt about Chicago. Dudes just be writing stuff, but they have clearly never spent time there. If you told people that 60%-70% of the bullshyt in Chicago happened in just a few areas they probably wouldn't believe you. Chicago is really safe. Just stay out of certain spots and know what is going on around you and you will be fine.

I'm on point every time I go out.

Chicago has always been violent since the Al Capone days. The city been carried a lot of negative energy since day 1. :francis:

Unfortunately, the vast majority of these neighborhoods happen to be black. That's the real problem.

It's like the tale of two cities, within the same city.

Above the fray.
A former college basketball player was killed while driving the crossfire delivering food

He was in the car with his family and they nearly died

His car hit a 50 yr old man a quarter mile away who was walking and died by decapitation

Wow. There was a thread posted yesterday about a man being shot while driving to deliver food, with his child in the car.
Thought it was the same story. Sadly the scenario played out in separate states at roughly the same time.

The vast majority of those neighborhoods happen to be "poor." That is the real problem. There are middle class Black neighborhoods in and around Chicago too and that shyt doesn't happen. There are poor Hispanic neighborhoods where it happens.

One thing I've learned is that because you don't see it or hear it, it doesn't mean that it's not happening.

Aside from that Little Village/Brighton Park/New City area, most 'active' neighborhoods are black. I would say gun and gang culture is a bigger contributor than poverty.
