what did the border people have to say?

when i lived in PG i didn't have no papers to do so but i at least had my passport to come over...
He just asked me how long I was gonna stay and what I wanted to come to Canada for. I said I was staying for a week...and I've been here since January. I don't follow rules, breh...You can't move like me because I've been moving like this forever. I do what I want.

I stopped listening to rap a long time ago...

No substance at all...nikkas want to impress females so bad and want to live out a movie like scarface or cocaine cowboys

Bu bu but bytches love it when I act ignorant. :skip:

Seriously, it is better than the early 00s when everyone wanted to be a super thug.

Besides, even if one person gets influenced by hip-hop, it puts a lot of innocent lives in danger like this situation.

Did they imply they thought he killed his brother, but couldn't prove it?

Fans legitimize this kind of activity by talking about "who's real" and who's not

Art should stand on its own, and not really need the "authenticity" we ask of it

The less authentic our rappers have to be, the more creative they can be. And then maybe they can create music that leads us to a place where this isn't happening anymore.

There are so many things that I hate about hip hop that has permeated black culture it makes me sick to even think about it.

-the idea that to be black in America you have to be from the hood or embody some hood element and if you're not...you're not authentically "black"
-the embrace of ignorance and anti-intellectualism
-it's love and support of the lowest dregs of society (criminals, strippers, drug dealers, pimps, prostitutes, gangsters, etc)
-it's Peter Pan "never grow" up mentality that has grown ass men acting like teenagers instead of...grown ass men.
-the embrace of "ratchet" culture
-the idea that anything that's outside of that spectrum is not black and anything that they do that is in that makes that person "not black" or "wanting to be white"...which is straight up crab in the barrel stuff...shooting down the progress of your own people just because Andre who still lives with his mom in the hood at 32 and never graduated high school and many like him don't like it out of contempt, bitterness, and jealousy...

There's more but I'll stop here.
