At what Age did you Realize you're NEVER going to be Well-Off or even Upper Middle Class, you're just AVERAGE at Best?

If I have $500, I want $1000, and so on, and that will never stop, but that same value system that pushes you, cuts into you and tells you it's never enough.

Two of my closest friends are dead, that were always with me, and that weighs on me, like I shouldn't even be here, so all this is extra. I feel like I should have been dead or washed up a long time ago.

People should blame themselves for being tricked by the media thinking everyone should have a "6 figure lifestyle"

If you are making $65k a year, and have your health, and are stable, you ARE a success
You forgot to mention a stable hairline. If your shyt looks like when kids try to color in the lines, you still lost.

I got lucky (some wealthy family members, like real wealth, 10s of millions), so I’ve been able get into real estate by flipping houses. But when I was in my late 20s, (I’m in my mid 30s now), I was feeling hopeless, and thought I’d never have a million dollar home, Rovers, etc. I got all that now, but I say that to say, shyt can change in an instant. Stay diligent, you never know when shyt could change.
this
I was dead broke a few years ago...
...kept grinding and stayed with my dreams.

biggest thing for me was avoiding marriage and kids.
I could do it now if I wanted to...
...doing it before I felt comfortable would have left me depressed because I would have been stuck with a life I didnt want (job and nagging wife)

so many opportunities out there but people focus on the negatives and gossip (read this site everyday)

you have no idea how fast your life can change.
it takes maintaining a positive mindset when things look bleak while youre on your journey

Pretty sure I'm doing waaayyyyy better than you. House and both whips paid off. And I make 6 figure. But I'm still now well off.

If I'm a loser, what that makes you?:sas1:

I’ll tell you what I am..

I’m not a person who thinks this is it or settles.

Ever. And won’t ever make that my reality.

If that was my mindset and mentality, I would have stayed in Portland, not have gotten over 15k raise or be able to afford my zip code by the beach.

You’re not doing better that me my guy, we are in two different places in our lives. I am a successful black man in West Los Angeles and it sounds like you’re doing your thing too. As you should. It appears the only difference between me and you is that I’m not giving up or being pessimistic.

nikkas have to understand, everybody life goals and situations are different

If u a dude with 2 kids and wife , live in New York or San Francisco , of course your goals for more money will be different from a guy with no wife, no kids, no debt and making 60k a year living in Michigan
