At what age should parents kick their kids out the house?

I’m not kicking my kids out I would prefer them to stay with me till they are financially stable, save some money and have good credit I feel like too many black parents kick their kids out of the house too soon that’s how we end up in debt

People legit treat their kids like a prison sentence. 18 years and not one more damn day! And it most definitely adds to debt not necessarily because of a lack of resources but because of a lack of knowledge.

Financial literacy is not taught in school....at.....all. But hey maybe the war of 1812 would suit you better in the real world.

I lived with my parents til 26. I was a late bloomer and a pot head but grew up and got a work ethic and job, then once my son was born I realized I had to grind harder and it paid off. But I ain’t done yet.

It’s weird cause like, I agree with trying to find the right spouses for your people, but not force it ya know. But us in America really shoulda been on that heavy for the past 150 years

Yeah, I would never force it, on some arranged marriage shyt, even though I understand completely why that type of shyt takes place in certain cultures/classes.

But, I think if you preach legacy to your family, share your ultimate vision with your children, and put them in situations where they are socially involved with like minded families consistently, your children will (hopefully) make the wise choice when picking a spouse.

I'm all the way on some linking like minded black families together.

That's how most cultures sustain themselves, so why shouldn't we.

It obviously works to a certain extent.
