I don't think they really care lol, isn't it a bit extreme to stop talking to your own kid because I'm an atheist?
shyt happens all the time

theres tons of stories of kids who come out to their parents a tad too early when they're still financially dependent and end up getting kicked out of the house or lose support while they're in school.

My mom is Christian, I have never believed in a higher power but she still tries to get me to go to church. :comeon:
I have to admit- my poor Grandma is not doing well with her Alzheimer's, so I don't fight it anymore. I talk to her almost every day, and she asks me if I've been going to church. I just say yes :(

My parents believe in god but they're not religious, they don't go to church or anything like that. The most they do is bow their heads during Thanksgiving grace. I've never had a convo with my dad about being atheist, but when I told my mom, she was legit saddened by it. She felt like she didn't do her job as a mother & it was probably the first time I really felt like I disappointed her. She asked me why I felt that way & then kept trying to convince to believe. She actually started apologizing because she felt like she made me that way by neglect or something. Started saying she was gonna take me to church & telling me to read the bible & shyt. Kind of made me feel like I was wrong, like as an individual. Then she started asking if I believed in an afterlife & if I would raise my kids to be atheist & if I would have religion a part of being married & a bunch of other crazy shyt.

The women in this thread denouncing religion is exactly why foreign women are the cream of the crop. :blessed:
