Still there are those who say Jackson and a string of black successors have made creating a welcoming environment for businesses a priority over policies that bridge the gap between the haves and have-nots
Like others have said, classism is a dangerous problem because it exist in every aspect of soceity and is strategically being overshadowed by other more polorizing and sexy dialogs
Mix it with an unbalanced human nature, it thrives in the various isms and the common superficial versions of identity politics we practice

...bubu koreans ain't selling products to Blacks, while constantly repeating to stop pocket watching and to not tell folks what to do with their money, after rambling about the need of another Black wallstreet
we know folks judge your actions differently if you have something they want...money/fame/access/narrative

Black mecca. just not for the natives.

Unfortunately its true. Being from NYC and the east coast in general brings a certain work ethic that the natives don't seem to have. Also the transplants that made the leap are the most entrepreneurial of the bunch. Being raised in the east coast also provides with access to diversity from the jump. Atl is very segregated and a lot of the black natives don't interact with non blacks until they enter a professional environment

I think people are undervaluing the ambition of people who relocate to another city to better themselves. I'd guess that on average, those people will do better than natives simply because their entire mission is to do better. You don't get many people who relocate just to get by. While the average native in any city is doing just that, getting by.
