No offense breh but they're struggling to fill the lower level at the Georgia Dome...I think they're averaging less than 10,000 a game, I doubt it would get much better even at a renovated Turner Field, but :manny:
got to start somewhere man

Wow brehs. We did it, we did it. :wow:

I don't know if I'm even going to be living here in 3 years but that's a big come up. That placed will be packed 24/7. Demographics and location fit perfectly.

Opens up downtown a little as the Falcons and Braves will be in two seperate areas now. I've always wondered why the Hawks and braves didn't move out to the suburbs as well.
Where are you moving breh?

Atlanta politicians (current ones) are dumbasses to the 9th degree. cobb county does not deserve to reap that revenue first of all, second, we just gonna diss the olympic stadium like it aint even twenty years old- why can't the falcons play there since the braves are moving? the government is funding two non-needed billion dollar stadiums, instead of improving the transportation infrastructure. dumbasses, and eventually they will realize their error but too late. its like the bears and cubs saying fukk chicago, were moving to joliet :what:
the Chicago Suburbs tried to http://articles.chicagotribune.com/...20130502_1_wrigley-field-stadium-hanover-park

As someone who grew up watching Braves games in Turner Field from the time I was a child, I am deeply pissed off at this decision. Me and my friends always make sure we hit a game anytime we are back in the city, and I honestly refuse to travel to Cobb to see these fukkers :ehh:

I haven't lived in Atlanta for a couple of years so I should have had another team by now, but this kinda solidifies that I need to take my fandom elsewhere :to:

Most of the ticket buyers do live on the north side of Atlanta, but I can't rock with leaving the city taxpayer's with the obligation of Turner field and pretty much making that area and the people who live and work their and need the Braves for sustenance basically high and dry. And it's not like they can just take their jobs to the new stadium because transportation is just shytty as fukk up there. Can't fukk a city of people over then try to use the city's name to promote the team.

I hope the city petitions to get an MLS team and uses Turner as their home field.

Ain't no way I'm riskin' gettin' pulled over by them Cobb County pigs :mjpls: Plus Cobb County is dull and boring as fukk. :dahell:

i feel you. these fukks don't realize that in 20 years cobb county will be the ghetto, and gwinnett will the new, chic place to move the team too. kasim reed is a joke and a disgrace to the long line of powerful atlanta politicians.
Suburbs are going out of style. People are moving to ATLANTA, not Marietta or Smyrna

With 285 becoming the world's biggest parking lot, it might be time for me to finally move to the city. :lupe:
I thought more folks were moving back/closer to the city? Biggest complaint I heard from (white) people were location and lack of MARTA to the stadium. The nearest one like 3 miles way. Do they even have a plan to build one going to this new one in Cobb County?
