So realistically what would you have liked for the Falcons to do? Allow Matt to walk after this season? Franchise him for a yr (which would eat up more of the team's salary cap) & then let him walk? I get it, Matt hasn't won a Super Bowl, but if you look at his entire body of work & the current market value for a QB of his stature he was going to get a contract of that value.

I don't understand why y'all keep thinkin y'all could low ball a top 10 QB just b/c he hasn't won a Super Bowl & that would've worked out.

I refuse to have this conversation with anyone anymore. People are trolling by not facing the reality of what the economics of QB's are in the league.

Matt Ryan the QB is not the problem

The problem is that franchise crippling contract of his. Falcons had to overpay him by 20-30 million $. With less money for Ryan the coulda pay some Linemen or defensive players.

coming into the arizona game ryan was tied for fewest times being sacked amongst starting qbs. Granted our O line and D line aren't good i don't think they are to blame......its the playcalling, the decisions, i blame the coaching staff......

Yeah I mentioned how fukking shyty A-Rod's lines were. I mean horrific and he had no running game. He put the team on his back doe.
