So he needs a good offensive line, and pro bowl receivers to succeed? Why are they paying him 20 million a year if he needs more help?

And he's eating up the salary space. The fukk he expect? When you want that kinda money, you gotta learn to produce with what you have on offense.
Who said he needed that? Look around the league. QBs are making a shytload of money regardless.
I didn't realize he had been there for 7 seasons. Time really flies by.
Jameis in ATL would be a perfect match.
And basically that's all I want Matt to do. He has not done anything to warrant that contract. Restructre your contract so money can get spent on all this game manager needs to succeed. The most they would do to him is restructure his contract if it comes down to it but that's it, he's basically a Falcon for life like it or not. Think about this, The Falcons have had a a defense ranked in the top 20 a total of 3 times in 12 years and the closest they've come to the top 10 is 12th. This team doesn't have a "Richard Sherman", "JJ Watt", "Luke Kuechly" etc. on Defense that teams have to plan for, hell on Offense their only person that attracts attention is Julio and that depends on if he's hurt or not. The whole team looks like what a Undrafted Football team would look and play like, just a bunch of soft players that got in the league because they were their best player on their suck ass team. When I saw highlight tapes of some of these players Dimitroff selected I had to

nikka has been here since 08 and the only good picks he's had are Matt, Julio and Trufant, everybody else is injury prone or Average aka not even Top 15 in their position. One of the bottom 5 GMs in the league

This right here is exactly why I don't get into Matt Ryan disputes. Football strategy isn't put together in a vacuum. The playcalls depend on the situation (s) that a Quarterback/Offense finds themselves in. Our defense routinely puts us behind the 8 ball and in turn the opponent's defense knows what's coming. This can't be news to you bruh.
QB's who play from behind historically throw more interceptions because they are playing catch up, but I know you already knew that. Couple that with our terrible oline where we literally don't have holes for running backs to run through. We are ALWAYS in 2nd and 9 which restricts our playcalling.
I've been watching football for about 25 years and I've only 2 QBs who have ever gotten it done without 'more help' on the field.
1) Brady
2) Marino (again only 2 or 3 years and he didn't do squat in the playoffs)
Just say you don't like Matt Ryan, but don't sit here pretending like he's not a good QB.
How come the offense scored 0 points against the giants in the playoffs?
How come the offense scored 0 points in the 2nd half again the 49ers in the NFC championship
In the Cleveland game some weeks back, how come the defense was getting turnovers and the offense wasn't doing anything with it?
Why did the offense check out of the playoff game against the Green Bay before halftime
A couple years back on Thursday night football the defense intercepted Drew Brees 5 times, yet the Falcons only won by 10
Why does the offense consistently disappear in the 2nd half of games?
Why didn't 7th year Matt Ryan check out of a pass play when they should of ran a running play against the lions. They had no time outs
Matt Ryan hasn't always have atrocious lines, not saying they were all pro either but I'll tell you what he has always had and that is weapons and that is before last and this year.
This offense was built to be the one that carries the team. they don't. Most of the money is on that side of the ball making it tough for the organization to sign any decent quality people.
Like Sam Baker Thomas screwed up giving just a " good qb" so much money. He doesn't deserve it.
Russell Wilson Doesn't have that great of a line and his number 1 receiver is 65th out of the entire league and if it wasn't for his ability to extend plays would be getting sacked like Matt Ryan, yet Wilson is Swimming in playoff victories and has a super bowl and is in the midst of making another run at the super bowl and he's only in his 3rd year. But but but but Russell has a Defense. Yep he does but when they whooped the Cardinals 35-6 all those points came off offense
