DC is the nation’s cap and cacs been took that back. DC was 70%+ black in the 70’s. Baltimore is blacker than DC. Detroit is blacker than DC. Memphis is blacker than DC. New Orleans, Birmingham the list goes on. DC lost it’s Chocolate city status over ten years ago. And them Africans in DC don’t rock with black folks on a collective level. Maybe individual Africans in the DMV identify as black, but their brothers, sisters and grandparents might be heavy on that
That’s why they mostly stay on the west side of the beltway in MoCo, NoVa and NW DC away from nikkas.Gentrification of DC is undeniable. If you think otherwise, you probably not from DC or the DMV. I’m from the Bay but lived out here since the 90’s and DC ain’t had that Chocolate city vibe in a long time. Maybe Southeast, parts of Northeast and some side streets off Georgia uptown still has them vibes, but the city as a whole gets more gentrified and less black damn near everyday.
Cacs in the DMV ain’t even like cacs in other East Coast cities. Cacs in Baltimore live right next to black folks and be just as poor and ghetto as them in South Baltimore. NY has ghetto ass white people living in some of those countless high rise project buildings. Philly got ghetto ass white people. Boston cacs are ghetto too and live right next to nikkas. DC cacs all have money and are at least upper middle class and are

And they have their sights set on turning DC into the East Coast San Francisco with less than 5% of DC being FBA black folks in the next 20 years. And it will happen.
