If you didn’t hit ATL in the early to mid 90s you missed the train and yes it was bad as chics down there in abundance

I imagine it's not a bad city if you have a proper degree. I can probably move their with ease with my work experience. I just don't care for the culture

Perhaps..I have a bs degree but lucked up career wise to do ok for myself....I considered moving down there a few years ago bc I became a remote worker but my wife found a job in pa...so that was dead

Nope 60 is mandatory but they can work up to 72 if they want. What y’all think redneck Jim Bob driving that new Ram is doing? These white dudes get their sons on and you have 21 year olds making bank and buying homes and all kinds of fly sh*t.
You have to look at hourly pay and factor in quality of life. Sure you can go work 60-72 hours per week and make 60-70k a year but it's not like it's just a great paying gig. 60 hours a week to make 70k is 22 bucks an hour and 19 bucks for 60k. And I'm sure some of them are working over 60 hours, so that hourly rate isn't impressive in Atlanta breh.

Isn’t a bullet train concept suppose to be in the infrastructure deal. If so you can work in ATL and live somewhere like South Carolina

I know a lot who this is true about. Atlanta has a huge wealth disparity if you’re not moving there to work a specific field, you will catch hell trying to get an apartment. It’s a lot of jobs in the service

If you trying to move to that area I would recommend an up and coming city that is rapidly expanding like Huntsville. They ain’t lying when they say Atlanta is full. And it’s only getting worse because besides blacks, a bunch of other minorities are moving there in droves and changing the demographics of the region. The south Asians in north Atl and Alpharetta are like the Cubans of Miami.

You ain’t fukking lying breh.

How is that hourly rate not impressive? With just their hourly rate, they are making the median salary of the average American with only a HS education. With OT, they are doing VERY well. Throw in a spouse making 30-40k…. Get the picture?
