i don't get what's funny here.

The LE camry model is a joke. There is no special features. No bluetooth technology, no heated seats, no sunroof, cannot be customized etc. It's basically an old mans car so he can drive his family around from point A to B.

It's like having a flip phone in this smart phone generation.

There are many benefits going from 07 to 05 beamer or audi or something similar. Not only status, but you're getting a better car with loaded features.

Anyways, still getting no luck selling the camry. Getting extremely low offers from people who don't seem too interested.

Do you need heated seats? Sunroof? What customization are you talking about?

Here's one of my friend's Camry LEs. Same body style as yours:

So for no customization sounds like you just haven't done your research.

Flip Phone does all the same basic shyt a smart phone does: Send texts and picture messages, answer calls, check voicemail, take pictures.

Camry does the same shyt an Audi does: Take you from point A to point B.

Seems like you care more about status than practicality and what other people around you have.

Best of luck though, if you downgrade to that Audi or BMW let us know when you start running into maintenance nightmares. Also enjoy filling up premium all the time. :russ:

who said it's a perfectly working car. There are issues with it right now.

And @tofuspeedstar, that's not what the Camry LE looks like. THIS is the model/body type I have. And a flip phone is still a flip phone. :manny:

The chassis/body style is the same for the 07-11 Camry. http://www.samarins.com/reviews/camry_07_2.html

You can pick up the later model body pieces for cheap if you look around, make the conversion and add the factory lip kit and some wheels for customization.

Heated seats they do. But yeah, no bluetooth unless you change the deck to an aftermarket one like we did on my wife's E46.

I'll tell you why I'm laughing.

You have a perfectly good car but you'd like to upgrade to something fancier but you have a shyt budget and then on top of that a shyt reason for wanting a fancier car in the first place. You're basically going to sell a car that's 6 years old to get something fancy but 8-10 years old. Nothing wrong with used cars at all but with age comes maintenance and if you're trying to buy a house, you really shouldn't risk that right now. Wait until you're settled in your home.

Some BMWs and Audis have more problems than others. You need to research it on ConsumerReports. You can have a 3-series from 2004 be great and 5-series from 2004 be a total POS.

Anyway, do you do your own repairs? It cuts down on maintenance costs. But, German parts cost a lot. When I had a BMW, I bought most of my parts from Bavarian Auto or BMP. Check out www.bavauto.com or www.bmpdesign.com for parts prices. That will give you a ballpark figure on what regular maintenance parts that wear down will cost. Radiator. Hoses. Brakes. Clutch. Tie rod ends. Bushings.

And if you end up with a BMW like mine, you will be driving around with a box of fuses and tail-light bulbs.
