He should get paid more than

Jrue Holiday - making 30 million a year (he's OG/Washed and injury prone)
Khris Middleton - making 33 million a year (best days behind him, injuries)
Deandre Ayton - 34 mill a year ( :mjlol: )
Jeremi Grant - 30 million a year ... for what????
Jordan Poole - 30 mill a year....no explanation needed
Jonathan Isaac - 25 million a year....fukk that MAGA c00n
Gone head throw Fred Van Vleet in that post too :francis: gone head, now

Austin Reaves has formally declined a max contract extension offer from the Los Angeles Lakers that would have paid him $89.2 million over four seasons. Reaves signed a four-year, $54 million contract with the Lakers in 2023, which was the max deal the Lakers could offer at that time.

Rivers can become a free agent in 2026 and command a contract at a significantly higher amount than his current max.

The Lakers have never shown interest in trading Reaves, but there are skeptics around the NBA of his future with the franchise considering his overlap with Luka Doncic and LeBron James.

Reaves averaged 20.2 points per game this past season.
Reaves told a local television station he hoped to remain with the team throughout his career.
“I want to be in LA. I want to play my whole career in LA. I love it there. I love the fans. Love the weather, love the golf,” Reaves told K8 News. “And obviously the Lakers are the best organization in basketball.”

Definitely Ayton. Dude doesn't even want to be an NBA player. Couldn't get to a game due to Ice.

Who trading something good for an upcoming UFA? Austin got the leverage now :sas2:
Can't afford any more shooting slumps.

He's played better every season, and if Luka spreads (pause) the floor he'll have plenty of shots and wide open lanes.

What he really needs is the confidence from our "coach/podcaster" and "franchise player/podcaster".

We can’t. That’s the max we can offer based on his current salary. We would have to match whoever else offers him.
Can you explain this in a simple way.

I'm not deep into the salary management and rules of players.

Is it based on how long you've been in the league and certain milestones (ASG selection, All-NBA team etc.)?
