That makes more sense as that 2 billion number sounded totally unrealistic. If that was the case, then I'd be curious to hear the number that Fast X needs to break even :russ:

Even then, I still think that it's going to struggle to hit that $800 million domestic box office number.
I think it’ might hit that seeing as marvel probably ain’t gonna have no movie releasing hitting that either and people are going to fiend for an over the top cgi spectacle like they had with the avengers

No thanks. I couldn't stay awake the 10 times I attempted to watch the first one.

This sounds like a marketing ploy/rollout.

Seems a bit silly to expect 2billie to break even. Unless they give this movie multiple releases and theatrical runs - and even then

This is what’s funny about these directors who diss comic book movies. James Cameron needed $$$$$ and over a decade to churn out a sequel to Smurf’s in space. A CGI fest with a lifted plot that’s pretty much interchangeable with video game cut scenes.

What a genius! Look at all this depth and real acting! Nothing like Marvel. *looks at blue people copying dances with wolves*

Don’t get me wrong; I love his movies, but he’s clearly a hater. And he’s making 7 of these terrible films. Lol.

u sound dumb as hell... :mjlol:

I feel like some Americans don't understand the appeal of Avatar. I saw the remastered release at the BFI in London a couple of months ago. The theater was PACKED. Just for the first film.

James Cameron directed two of the highest grossing movies of all time back to back. Terminator 2 was vastly superior to the original, and some would argue Aliens is better than Ridley Scott's first entry.

This movie is going to make killing at the box office.
