This is what’s funny about these directors who diss comic book movies. James Cameron needed $$$$$ and over a decade to churn out a sequel to Smurf’s in space. A CGI fest with a lifted plot that’s pretty much interchangeable with video game cut scenes.

What a genius! Look at all this depth and real acting! Nothing like Marvel. *looks at blue people copying dances with wolves*

Don’t get me wrong; I love his movies, but he’s clearly a hater. And he’s making 7 of these terrible films. Lol.
Hes making at least 3, if they aint as successful he scrapping 4 and 5.

The first Avatar came out when Obama was just getting into office.
Shyt came out, when MCU was just popping off.
In that time Christopher Nolan has made like 5 movies.

James Cameron needs to get back to his action roots.

iono man, the 3d and computer graphic movie game is at it's peak.

when the first one came out, it was one of the first few movies of it's kind, but it's been saturated

i'll still watch it because James Cameron is arguably the goat high budget movie director and it's an original story instead of a remake/reboot or superhero

Disney will be extremely in a bad spot if this isn’t a hit. No Star Wars or new big tent movies in the next 3 months so this movie has to break even at the minimum.

I remember when production started they were trying to “push new technology” but what is that going to look like? The experience won’t be anything new :manny:
