The two rings is what gave Eli this much guaranteed money. Without them he wouldn't have gotten nowhere near this much. Not mad at him for cashing out though. He was right for getting all the guaranteed cash he could.

The market for qb's is what is it, but according to these Eli stans in here, Eli gets all the credit for the super bowl wins and his best season in years is all him and not the fact he had ODB come in and shake off double teams like it's nothing.

You Eli cheerleaders are something else. He's an above average NFL qb at best. He's lead the league in interceptions several times, just doesn't put it together on the field consistently like greater qb's do.

This thread still going? :russ:

So what is the 84 million for? :russ:

Is it for his work in 2007 and 2011? :russ:

It's definitely not for his work since then :russ:

7-9 two years ago...6 - 10 last year :russ:

84 mill to a guy who is hustling backwards in the win loss column and has led the league multiple times in int's :russ:

He won two superbowl mvp's:russ:...David Tyree Helmet should have gotten one of those:russ:

Some dude in this posted eli numbers last year and tried to clown romo and romo threw for more touchdowns and less ints :russ:

B-b-b-but Romo hasn't won a super bowl...B-b-but Romo only has so and so many playoffs wins...b-b-b-but the cowboys haven't won anything since...

Romo looking like he doing just fine right now to me coming off a 12 win campaign...

Hey that is 1 less win in one season than Eli has in two season :russ:

Smart Front Offices pay players based on how the player is projected to perform rather than how they performed or based on what they accomplished. Romo has won a playoff game, been elected to the Pro-Bowl, selected as an All-Pro, and led his team to the best record in the league since signing his deal. He is currently being paid less than Cam Newton, Eli, Cutler, Russel, rodgers, Ryan, Rivers, Kapernick etc.

On top of that you clowns are celebrating your Qb for being overpaid :what:. I would want my QB to take the lowest deal possible (Brady) so we can upgrade the rest of the team.

I agree.

And you tend to project that based on past performance.

At 35 years old, how does Tony Romo figure to earn his remaining salary?

:sas1:

At least with Eli, he's earned some of that "overpayment" with his accomplishments and marketing.

The same argument that coli members conveniently use for Kobe Bryant and Derek Jeter...

Cowgirls fans have some nerve trying to shyt about Eli :mjlol: You would trade Eli's rings for Romo's meaningless stat compilation 100 times out of 100.
But they don't hear you tho:pachaha:

...Desperate Cowgirls of the Coliseum:skip:

Can't wait for Sunday to Go HAM up in Jerry Worlds to make the cypher complete:ahh:

:what: Overpayment for what? This dude has been the highest paid QB in the league twice in his career.

No one cares about the regular season, when you fall short when it matters every time. What is Romo's career defining highlight? Fumbling a god damn XP. You know why? Because those moments matter.

Look at this shyt
