Did Sheli play well in those runs, yes he did. But you guys act like what he did was godly :stopitslime:

Eli on the low had one of the best Postseasons a QB has ever had in 2011:

During the 2011 Playoff run Eli Manning became the First Quarterback to EVER throw for over 275 yards and 2TD's in three seperate games in a Single Postseason.(in two of those three games he actually threw for 300 Yds & 3TD's)

THE FIRST AND ONLY at the time he did it...

Not Montana
Not Brady
Not Peyton
Not Marino
Not Elway
Not Favre
Not Aikman
Not Young
Not Bradshaw
Not Warner
Not Kelly
Not Brees
Not Rodgers
Not Rapeman(Rothlisberger)

ELI MANNING

Flacco has since done it as well, but nobody else has in the history of the NFL, including Brady last year.

And?

At the time Eli Manning had done it, no QB in the history of the game ever had.

As of this moment, only 2 men have ever accomplished such feats in the Postseason(when defenses tighten up and every yard is earned).

Eli Manning is one of those 2 men.

Pretty Godly Post Season Performance in 2011, if I do say so myself.

Oh yeah, and don't forget that in that same 2011 Season, Eli Manning broke Johnny Unitas's record for most 4th Quarter Comebacks for Victories in a Single Season. A Record he still holds.

If his 2011 Season wasn't Godly, then what exactly was it?

He got hot at the right time...twice...pay the man :yeshrug:. Of all the QBs getting big deals lately he's probably the most deserving based upon what he has actually done.

And you avoid the Post Season Stats.

The Record 4th Quarter Comebacks.

Going into Lambeau against a 15-1 Packers and shredding them.

Going into a rainy and muddy San Francisco against the best Defense in the League and putting up 275 and 2 TD's while getting the shyt pounded out of him.

Then going up against Bill Belichick with 2 weeks to prepare and coming away with the Ring again.

Keep hating my man... The fact is, what Eli Manning did in 2011, Staubach, Aikman and Romo have never done... And they never will.

First off, Dont bring up the Goats (Staubach/Aikman) and compare them to Eli. Eli is good but like dude said, got hot at the right time. Fukkin Joe Flacco had a better postseason than almost all Qbs in NFL history, yet hes still viewed as an average QB in this league.

And that has zero to do with what you said.

You said we shouldn't act like what Eli did during his Super Bowl runs was "Godly".

I clearly showed you how what he did in 2011 was just that(something no QB in the history of the League had ever done up to that point).

Now you're moving the goal posts. You lost.

Move along.

It wasnt godly

Since when is 275 yards and 2 TDs considered a godly performance in the playoffs against mostly average defenses with the exception of San Fran. Atlanta defense was azz and your defnse held them to 2 points :skip:

GB had the worst Defense in the league that season

Patriots had jus got lit up by Flacco the game before

And stop comparing QBs across eras. The game was different back then

Good day fakkit.

EDIT: And like I said before, he put up 300+ Yards and 3TD's in each of the Atlanta & Green Bay games
