No one cares about the regular season, when you fall short when it matters every time. What is Romo's career defining highlight? Fumbling a god damn XP. You know why? Because those moments matter.

Look at this shyt

Ya'll have'nt even SNIFFED a Super Bowl during the Eli era :dahell:

Remember TO crying for underwhelming ass Tony Romo in 2007? :to:

WE DID THAT :rudy:

After being knocked out of the playoffs by the New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys WR Terrell Owens gets emotional defending his QB Tony Romo.

21-17, Giants.

4th Quarter:
Tony Romo pass incomplete deep middle intended for Terry Glenn is intercepted by R.W. McQuarters

I agree.

And you tend to project that based on past performance.

At 35 years old, how does Tony Romo figure to earn his remaining salary?

:sas1:

At least with Eli, he's earned some of that "overpayment" with his accomplishments and marketing.

The same argument that coli members conveniently use for Kobe Bryant and Derek Jeter...

:sas2:

I'm willing to bet if Romo had some of the stout defensive play Eli had in the offs, he'd have a ring or two. Eli has been intentionally trying to give games away with his turnovers. Yall stay stanning too hard for a man that has several 20+ pick seasons.

He hasnt been a top 5 QB at any time in his career :patrice:
Only QB's with more rings in the last 20 years than Eli Manning:

Tom Brady

:manny:

Who said you gotta be Top 5 in your position to get a big contract?
Russell Wilson is the 2nd highest paid and he aint even the MVP of his own team.

Winning is all that matters.

Brett Favre is the most intercepted QB of all-time.

Bet yall would take that 1997 chip over Tony Romo's 34/9 last year

This. In Eli Mannings 8 playoff wins, his defense has given up at least 20 points 2 times (2007 vs GB, 2011 vs GB). Theres a handful of QBs in the league right now that can win a SB if given that type of defensive performance in a playoff run.

It doesn't matter. His defense game him chances to win. In 2006, 2007 Romo had the games in his hands. You have to score to win. In every single one of those runs, regardless of the defense, the game was on Eli's shoulders at point or another. The defense doesn't throw the football.

You're right...so it takes a TEAM effort to win.... So Romo couldn't will his team to win twice? What bout all those other opportunities where he did show up and the rest of his team didn't? *thinks back to Patrick Crayton dropping game winning TD in the endzone*

Romo has played more than well enough. His numbers are undeniable. They dwarf eli's. You know how many picks Tony has in the playoffs? 2. He has 8 TDs. Comp% >60 and Rating>90.

His Rating is STILL better than Eli's in the playoffs and regular season....so I don't quite understand the chest puffing for Eli and hate on Romo.

Romo is dope.

Takes an entire team effort to win. Remember that. Eli won based on his own play along with the other worldly play of that D. The D was always more impressive to me than Eli's heroics to be honest.

Im sorry but if you can guarantee me that my defense would only give up 20 points in a game, i would like my odds. How the hell doesnt that matter?

Did Sheli play well in those runs, yes he did. But you guys act like what he did was godly :stopitslime:

Four more years of him possibly leading the league in picks :swagfather:

And a no trade cause which means when he starts the giants can't stop him :swagfather:

Only one legit receiver to throw to in ODB:swagfather:

Inflated swagboyz interception numbers on deck for 4 more years :swagfather:

And still no championships for Dallas.

If you don't got love for Eli, you don't got any respect for the game.

Watch the 2011 NFC title game, 99% of QB's would have completely folded or tapped out of that game, his brother sure would have, so would have Tom Brady
