Banks are reintroducing high risk mortgages again. It's like, did you learn anything from housing bubble crisis of the mid 2000s? Tons of people defaulted and got their homes foreclosed. They couldn't afford their mortgage long term and got in over their heads. On top of that, the value of their home dropped, so even if they sold their home, it would be at a loss.

It's because home ownership is low and interest rates as well. Them banks gotta get their money.

As much as I hate the lenders it's on the people too. Gotta budget and understand what you can really afford and not get hosed by those fools.

4 years use to be the max for auto loans. If you add 3 years and paid $500 a month, that's $18,000 more in total payments. Of course, that would be appeal to people who want baller status.

7 year car loan:francis:

It's low because so many people lost their homes through foreclosure.
I know my local bank is getting on board with first-time buyer/Fannie Mae thing and I'm thinking, That's crazy. This bank is going to go under if you start dishing out high-risk mortgages.

I hate people that say you shouldn't buy BMW's or any other German car cuz of the cost and maintanance,I look at em like "bytch you ain't ever ever even owned a foreign whip, you drive a pice of shyt,BUT not by choice, you just tryna make yourself feel better :stopitslime:",my 330ci coupe never gave me problems, and I had that shyt for a minute before it got totaled, only thing I recall were the passenger window regulator crapping out,and yeah,if you go straight to the BMW dealer they gonna bend you over, that's why you go about it smart,go to the BMW forums and look it up,save yourself hundreds. My father got a 5 series and X5 and an A4 he uses as his commuter, only the A4 gave him major problems where it wouldn't go faster then like 45 MPH,he researched it and got that fixed idk how much tho :yeshrug:

I don't think it's that. Just people underestimate the upkeep of a bmw. Bmw makes good cars. But most don't go to forums to fix things. 100-200 oil changes, 1000 tires, etc. a lot of people ain't ready for that.

The new bmws almost force you to go to a dealership. Some don't even have dipsticks to check oil level smh lol.

That's the thing, they don't take the time.Mine took 7 liters, and I bought what they told me was the best oil, that royal purple shyt,I had to buy a 5 litter jug plus 2 1-liters,plus the $5 oil change kit from autozone,in all under $80 and slid my Mexican neighbor that works at auto shop a six pack of modelos and he got that shyt done in 15mins,tires for me were easy,I went on Clist and looked for people that had recently upgraded their rims I'm their newly copped bimmers since a lot tend to throw on bigger rims the moment they get theirs, they end up selling them new or like new tired for dirt cheap since they just laying around their house taking up space :yeshrug:

No wonder you're so calculated, nice.

Well honestly I give credit to my cousin who is a senior vp of a retirement financial firm. I've been financially reckless in my early 20s. Didn't really have anyone educate me at the time on being smart. Man if I knew back then what I know now I'd be in a much better position. The Roth IRA is like the superman of retirement assets. I'd have done it when I was 18 knowing I could have millions by 50-55.

Where I work the average salary is literally like 80-130 k. Yet I know coworkers that don't even do the company 401k that the employer matches 3% of. Guess they don't like free money. Or coworkers who borrow on their 401k. I try to explain why it's a WOAT thing to do but I get the "but I'm paying myself back":what:

Man I feel this lol.

I stumbled upon some cnn article that got me investing in investing. I always did the company match but didn't do the Roth until I was 31 smh (I'm almost 39 now). I could be so much further ahead if I knew what I know now. Or at least had someone in my ear. No one in the history of my family has ever invested.
