This has been a terrible year for movies so far. The 2nd best movie I've seen this year is Eddie The Eagle and thats not a great movie. This fall has to be all time great to make this year a decent one. So far Zootopia is the only film this year that would've made my top 10 last year.

Media made SURE to destroy Nate Parker's chances and I don't know of any other Black actors/actresses/directors who will be getting any love this awards season so it's a wash this year.

It's not going to be a coli favorite, but Moonlight is lining up to possibly pick up a few big nominations (director, Harris in supporting, picture, etc) as well.
