So pardon me, as I only watched the 4th qtr of this game due to a hangover, but Dom Capers has to be one of the worst defensive coaches in the league.
From what I keyed on during the last 3 chicago possessions, the Packers had no idea what the play call was or where the ball was going. I say that because if you look at the last 3 possessions, ever time the bears lined up, the Packers were running across the field trying to make defensive adjustments. The 2 or 3 times we made stops happened when we were properly lined up and ready to attack the ball. Even the goaline stand, even with us being a man short, we were properly adjusted to the play, our corners were in front of thir men, and we were able to play from a position of strength.
This was a terrible, terrible 4th qtr from Dom. some ppl I was hangin with tried to blame it on the cold. fukk that. It's not like Chicago was playing in 80 degree weather. They had to battle the lements in the 4th qtr too!
I don't know why we line up in a fake 3-4 on 3rd and longs. If you're gonna have 4 down linemen in an obvioius dime backage, have them all put their hands down on the ground and go for the sack. Stop pretending. We don't have exotic blitz packages, so you're not fooling anyone.
