His OG squad let him go but you cant base things solely on organizations because not all front offices are competent. Tannehill is a solid starting QB that has had - at least - 4 really solid years, not to mention hes been a starter for 7 years which isnt easy to do at the QB position. He's a solid game manager. Henry is the offense though.
57-53 as a starter is not close to a bust record
171:86 is not close to bust TD:INT ratio

I never believed in Tannehill. Still don't.

If he keepd this up I'll give him his due. But thus far he's only played one year thus far with the Titans considering he started mid-way thru last season.

Is Jameis a bust? In Year 3, he had a 92.2 QB rating. Now he's a 3rd string QB in the NFL.

Is Trubisky a bust? He had the Bears 12-4 and made the Pro Bowl as a 2nd year player.

I ain't moving no goalposts. I'm telling you he's still trash despite this short term success. He needs to keep this up for MULTIPLE SEASONS. Anybody can have a few good games on a loaded team in one season.

If Trubisky had a 2020 comparable to Baker I would say no. But yes Mitch is a bust.

I never liked Jameis as a prospect, but even with his god awful last year, I do not consider him a bust for 2 reasons, his career stats are still respectable and he's only 26 and I think he has a lot of football left in him, imo.

So Mitch is a bust.
Jameis isn't.

If Jameis ain't a bust then we clearly have different definitions for the word. When a guy goes #1 overall in the draft and his original team refuses to resign him and he ends up as a 3rd string QB, I define that as a CLEAR bust. Could Jameis rebound and salvage his career? Sure. But unless he somehow becomes a Pro Bowl caliber QB elsewhere he will remain a bust.

To me not being god awful as a #1 overall pick isn't good enough. When you are picked that high, unless you become a good playet, you are a bust.

I am just saying there is a line between bust and star. Just because you are not a star doesn't make you a bust neccessarily.

Breh your dumb ass said that Baker Mayfield wasn't even an NFL quarterback. :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

No. I said he was a 3rd round caliber pick. Solid backup/garbage starter status. Which is what he is. My pre-draft comps for him were Case Keenum with stronger arm and Rex Grossman. Both guys who were either garbage starters/solid backups.

Baker leading the Browns to their first playoff win since 1994.

:wow:

I think you mean the defense led them to their first playoff win.

5 turnovers by Pittsburgh decided the game from the start. Mayfield was simply a game manager after the Steelers self destructed.

We'll see what he does next week against KC. You can't game manage your way to victory against Mahomes and that offense.

Think a player is a bust unless he’s in the HOF, brehs.

Obviously that is hyperbole but Marcus Mariota did win a playoff game 2 years before the Titans chose to let him go. He's now a backup.

All Mayfield has only proven he'll probably get his 5th year option picked up. He can still be a bust (see Winston, Mariota, and Trubisky).
