you're surprisingly fine and won't miss much of the stuff you cut yourself off from outside of Karlach being the very best. Shame on you

Act 2 is when Dark Urge can go left and dramatically change stuff dependent on what you do in a few points. Up to and including changing your character's storyline ending

I can’t say I agree since I haven’t played it, but I have accepted that based on all the word of mouth. But once any game is so far past RD, my price I’m willing to pay falls at Ubisoft rates

How fukked am I going into act 3

You’re gonna miss a good chunk of story, but that’s just gonna make your second play through more fun

Gameplay wise that shyts gonna be a tad harder but you can just use the generic companions
