Moved from Philly to the DMV about 3+ yrs ago...was paying 30 in Philly at this spot in Wynnefield before I moved

I move to the DMV, started going to She's The Barber because her work was impeccable...30 for a shape up, 40 for a cut

She moves to Morono's shop in NEDC (he's one of the top guys in DC), she starts charging 50 for a cut

A few months later, she gets her own shop & starts charging 60 a cut

Now she's up to like 100 a cut and has first time client fees

I go to the barber weekly so once she went above 70, I said no mas...haven't been to her in about 18 months

I'm not paying 300+ a month for haircuts...but she can really cut her ass off

I always wondered if it was disrespectful to barbers if you put a hat on after they cut your hair

I pay $30 for a bald fade and beard line up.
$25 seems to be the standard out here, and you can probably get it for $20 if you really search or go to the hood.
